About the Role
We are currently seeking a Head of Investor Relations and Business Development to join the FRAM team. Forest Road has a number of proprietary investment strategies that we plan to introduce in 2023 and 2024. The role's primary responsibility will be to drive the design and execution of an effective marketing strategy for our funds. The ideal candidate will leverage deep experience from an established career in finance to enhance Forest Road's visibility and reputation within the institutional investor community. Other responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, communicating investor updates, managing a team of IR/BD professionals, spearheading new product ideas, and asset-raising. The position will report directly to the CEO and COO, and will work closely with top management to develop marketing strategies across all fund products. Forest Road is a small team that works hard, but you can expect to be rewarded with valuable exposure, experience, and autonomy.

Primary Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Drive the design and execution of an effective institutional marketing strategy for 2+ first-time funds</li>
<li>Lead capital raising for the Forest Road Digital Fund, our hybrid multi-strategy digital assets fund</li>
<li>Provide regular updates to the executive team on the state of the market and investor preferences</li>
<li>Oversee and manage investor events and communications</li>
<li>Deliver clear and prescient communication between internal and external parties</li>
<li>Collaborate cross-functionally with investment, operations, and legal teams to support FRAM's overall objectives</li>

Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Minimum of 10 years of experience in a credit-focused IR/BD role</li>
<li>Connections — Existing relationships with institutional LPs (family offices, MFOs, RIAS, etc.) that invest in credit</li>
<li>Product Knowledge — A credit background is a must, and private equity and digital assets are a plus</li>
<li>Track Record — Proven track record of raising institutional capital</li>
<li>First Time Funds — Proven experience in successfully raising first-time fund products</li>
<li>Leadership — Experience recruiting, motivating, and managing a team</li>
<li>Communication — Must be able to synthesize complex information into a concise and compelling presentation</li>
<li>Attention to Detail — Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to detail and ensure accuracy in all tasks and projects </li>
<li>Job location in Los Angeles, CA strongly preferred </li>
